The Department of Environmental Management is committed to serving national ecological civilization construction and advancing the goals of Beautiful China and carbon peaking and carbon neutrality. Focusing on global environmental challenges and the UN Sustainable Development Goals, including climate change adaptation, nature and biodiversity conservation, land degradation and desertification, as well as pollution and waste management, the department promotes interdisciplinary integration between science and policy, technology and governance.
